The PDF and the e-invoice, together

Belgium already asks for structured e-invoices and Germany and France follow. Letterwax writes the Peppol BIS 3 XML from the same page as your PDF.

How it works

Write the invoice, with both VAT IDs. The country of each party is read from its VAT ID.

Download the XML, a UBL 2.1 file in the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 format that accounting tools and access points read.

Keep the PDF too, for your own records and for clients who still read paper.
